Baby’s First Visit
Starting dental care early is important for your baby’s long-term oral health. For babies, we offer a gentle, informative first visit that includes:
- NA dental exam, either knee-to-knee or with the parent holding the baby in their lap, depending on what’s most comfortable.
- NOral hygiene education for parents, including tips on feeding habits and caring for your baby’s mouth.
- NAn evaluation for tongue and lip ties, with recommendations if necessary.
- NIf your baby has teeth, we’ll attempt a gentle cleaning.

As your child grows, we continue to provide the dental care they need, including:

Children who receive treatment with expanders and Invisalign First aligners early on may be able to prevent the need for braces and tooth removal in their teenage or adult years.

How can I help my child maintain good oral hygiene at home?
We’ll provide you with helpful tips and guidance on caring for your child’s teeth at home. Start by brushing your child’s teeth twice a day. For babies, use a soft cloth or infant toothbrush. For older children, supervise brushing until they’re old enough to brush effectively on their own. Regular flossing and limiting sugary snacks also play an important role in maintaining healthy teeth.
What are dental sealants?
Dental sealants are a thin coating applied to the chewing surfaces of your child’s back teeth to prevent cavities. The sealant acts as a barrier, protecting teeth from food particles and bacteria. Sealants are safe, effective, and typically last for several years.
