Who said a smile can’t improve your overall health AND look good? For patients with significant tooth wear, it’s important to not only restore the aesthetics but to also rebuild the structure that was lost. By increasing the height of the teeth and creating a stable bite, we can significantly improve the health of the joints and open up the airway, while giving the patient a full, healthy smile—a beautiful melding of both form and function! ...

No veneers or ortho, no problem! In some cases, closing up an undesirable space between teeth just takes a little bit of bonding. By layering the the different composite shades available to us and polishing and contouring appropriately, the final product can look just as natural in shape and color as if it were your own tooth!

Who said dentures needed to be big and bulky? Thanks to advancements in dental materials, partial dentures can be both lightweight AND retentive, offering patients a comfortable and almost imperceptible option for replacing multiple teeth at once.

We put our teeth through the ringer every day, and over time the daily wear and tear is bound to catch up to them. While you can’t replace lost tooth structure, you can always cover up the exposed areas to help prevent further wear, reduce sensitivity, and improve the aesthetics and natural look of the tooth.

No reason an old denture and a couple broken/missing teeth should get in the way of a healthy smile! Through a combination of a new upper denture and a few crowns and partial denture on the bottom, we were not only able to improve the aesthetics to this patient's smile, but also restore a stable bite to promote TMJ health and give her more teeth to chew with.

Crowns and bridges are a great way to replace missing teeth, protect existing weakened teeth, and improve the aesthetics of a smile. Thanks to quality dental materials that are both strong and cosmetic, we were able to give this patient a sturdy, natural-looking smile that she can put to good use and feel proud to show off!

Accidents happen. Fortunately, there are easy, natural-looking solutions. This teenage patient walked in with a broken front tooth after a sporting accident. With a little time and bonding magic, we were able to send him on his way with a big, chip-free smile...and a recommendation to wear a mouthguard next time!

You don't need brackets and wires to achieve the smile of your dreams! Moving teeth with clear aligners like Invisalign has made ortho more comfortable and predictable than ever before!

Crowding as an adult can be be a result of narrow arch development as a child. By getting in there early and helping expand a patient's arches as a child, we can create room for the adult teeth to come in where they're supposed to. From there, all it takes is some fine-tuning with braces or clear aligners to produce a wide, healthy smile for life!

As far as dental emergencies rank, I think we can all agree a broken front tooth places high on the list. This patient came in because an old filling had broken and taken some tooth with it, leaving a large hole in the canine. However, thanks to current bonding techniques and high quality materials, we were able to not only restore the tooth to proper function, but also match the natural shape and color, making it look like nothing ever happened in the first place!

Even after previous ortho treatment, teeth can begin to shift again over time. But just because you've had braces once doesn't mean you're going to need them again! Invisalign is the perfect option for easily fixing previously relapsed ortho cases.

Thanks to Invisalign's patented technology, no level of crowding is too difficult to fix with clear aligners alone!

It's never too early to start thinking about your child's crowding or arch development. With Invisalign First, we can get in early to expand the arches and guide the eruption of permanent teeth to give kids a nice and healthy smile they'll carry with them into adulthood!

Let's be real, kids can get reckless. In fact, dental traumas are the most common injuries among children. However, when such accidents happen, dental bonding is a great way to recreate the natural structure of the tooth, postpone the need for a veneer or crown for many more years, and restore a child's confidence in his/her smile!

With just a couple of months in Invisalign treatment, we were able to correct the misalignment of the teeth, fix the crossbite on the left side, and create a more ideal overbite to give this patient the functional, healthy, and aesthetic smile she was looking for!

Cavities come in various colors, shapes, and sizes. Demineralization is a breakdown of enamel that can result in white and brown spot lesions on teeth. By conservatively removing these diseased areas and placing naturally colored bonding on top, we can restore health and aesthetics to this patient’s front teeth.

Tooth color can be influenced by many external factors: what you eat/drink, wear and tear of your enamel, oral hygiene. However, internal conditions, such as fluorosis or antibiotics as a child or in utero, can cause teeth to erupt with the enamel already discolored. Once believed to be maskable only with veneers, advancements in whitening materials and techniques have made it possible for us to treat cases such as this one to the patient’s satisfaction without touching drill to tooth!

As with most things, sometimes fillings do fall apart with overuse, age, and trauma. However, that doesn’t mean your tooth or aesthetics needs to suffer. As in this case, it is possible to carefully remove what remains of the broken filling and bond a new one on to restore the natural contours and colors of the tooth.

At Advanced Dentistry, we never want our patients to stop smiling, especially not because of a chipped tooth. Just a quick appointment later and a bit of bonding magic, we can keep our patients smiling as if nothing happened!

We don’t always need to place porcelain veneers on teeth to improve their shape or color. In some cases, a composite veneer done in the chair is a quick, aesthetic, cost-effective alternative that can leave patients just as satisfied as with a lab-made veneer, but for a fraction of the cost and time.

Invisalign has become a highly effective alternative to metal brackets and wires for treating many cases of crowding, spacing, and unstable bites. In this case, the patient had an open bite on the right side, preventing them from being able to bite down stably on both sides of their mouth. Over time, this can create a strain on the jaw, leading to TMJ issues. With Invisalign treatment, we were able to correct the open bite and create stability in both the bite and, as a result, the joint.

Root exposure not only causes tooth sensitivity, but over time, daily activities such as eating and brushing can wear down the root structure even further, weakening the tooth and, in severe cases, resulting in the need for a root canal. By placing a filling over the root, we can effectively protect the tooth from such threats, as well as restore the aesthetics to the area.
